Some say the “perfect” is the completion of the Holy Bible, and that it has already came, and that tongues have already stopped.

The Perfect” will come, then Prophecy & Knowledge & Tongues will stop:

1 Cor. 13:8-10 (KJV)

“8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.”

But to “Prophesy” a prophecy is yet to come, meaning the “perfect” has not come yet:

Acts 2:17 (KJV)

“And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:”

A prophet cannot prophesy a prophecy when prophecies have stopped.

A prophecy is knowledge of the future (from a divine source).
To prophesy means to predict the future (with divine inspiration).
